I am a Master, all about control, and yet right now, facing great tragedy, I feel as if I have none. I find sanctuary in the one place I've promised I will never be again, but cannot seem to resist. Her arms.
Teaser.....
I feel her hunger, taste her passion, as if this is her escape, too, as if she is running from something I do not know, burying it in this kiss. It calls to me, drives me to want more, tells me she does know
loneliness. She knows pain and it is that pain that is bringing us here, to this moment. It's why me as Master and her as submissive do not matter. Why I crave every touch, every stroke of her tongue.

Synopsis
An Inside Out Novella in Mark’s POV…
While Chris and Sara have traveled to Paris to avoid the chaos of press and police after the tragic night we’d shared, I have stayed to face the reality of what has happened. But there is no peace to be found in facing the truth, and no truth to be found in the confessions that have been made and retracted. I am a Master, all about control, and yet right now, facing great tragedy, I feel as if I have none. With my club and my relationships of the past in the spotlight, I find sanctuary in the one place I’ve promised I will never be again, but cannot seem to resist. Her arms.
***Mark and Crystal’s story begins in the novella The Master Undone.

pearls' review:
First, if you have not read the entire series, I encourage you do so first. In the Inside Out series, Sara has been investigating a missing person, with Chris and Mark as her two persons of interest. It is a wonderfully erotic game of Clue. Unlike most mysteries, the story doesn't end with the big reveal. Lisa Renee Jones has created very intense characters and her series continues as she follows Chris, Mark, and Sara afterwards to see how their lives have been affected.
My Hunger is the second installment of Mark's continuing story. Everything in his life is out of his control and he is grappling to find some inner peace. Questioning himself and his life decisions, this novella takes him to a place he never thought he would be. Did I like this continuation of Mark's story--Yes! I loved seeing deeper into his soul. Finally, we see the man behind the Master. It is a necessary read for fans of the series. However, this is not a stand-alone title.
TinkNCognito's review:
I continue to love the Inside Out Series. The novellas have just served to enhance my enjoyment by giving me what feels like behind the scenes commentary on my favorite characters and My Hunger is no exception.
With this Novella, we truly begin to see how vulnerable Mark is. He is hurting over the death of Rebecca, his mother's illness and we see how his once legendary control is falling apart, You can't help but sympathize with what all he is dealing with.
With each addition to the main story, I continue to see the brilliance of Lisa Renee Jones' writing.
Love this whole series and I was thrilled to read the ARC. It just gets better.
