Excerpt:

“Hell.” I cried, coming out of my memories as Luke turned me to the side before moving me onto my back. He lifted my legs and hiked my ankles over his shoulder. I didn’t like the look in his eyes.

“Where did you go, girl?” he asked as his cock pushed into my ass. “Stay with me. You take this and know it’s me fucking you.”

I was back in the now and it was worse because he watched me as he filled my ass.

“Yes, girl, look at me. I love your nasty asshole. You’re not shutting me out… this out.” His gaze burned into me. “I know how much you want it.”

The problem was—I did want it. I wanted him topping me, dominating me, hurting me. Making me do the things I hated. His chilling smile made my pussy wet and so did his cock. He was so beautiful, each muscle in his arms and chest perfect and strong—made for a masochist’s pleasure. I gritted my teeth against the pain as his hands tightened on my hips. He plowed my ass, no longer taking his time or caring about the burning ache.

Why did I love this man who would never give up until he uncovered all my secrets?

Review by pearls:
Bad boy rockers--How do I love thee!  It was supposed to be about meeting each other's needs.  As play partners they were perfectly matched.  But it became much more.  The mystery behind her guilt and nightmares pushes Luke to help her face what she has hidden deep down.  I like the characters and this storyline.  They both like his Sadistic brand of BDSM and as individual scenes, I enjoyed it too; however, I found it hard to take so many beatings in such a short amount of time.  You don't have to know the other band members' stories to enjoy their supportive presence in the story as Mechala moves from play partner to girlfriend.

When Love stops being a game

Going Under
Falling Under Trilogy #1
an Erotic Romance
by Jeffe Kennedy

Book Description:

Knowing all too well the damage online trolls can inflict, game designer Emily Bartwell takes privacy seriously. Living in solitude and working remotely under a male alias gives her a sense of security. The sexy writer renting the house next door ignites desires she’d forgotten she had, and when he invites her to play games of a very different sort, Em is ready and willing. Even if it means breaking all her own rules to abide by his.

Undercover tech reporter Fox Mullins is so close to the biggest scoop of his career: finding the elusive programmer Phoenix. An increasingly erotic adventure with his reserved but passionate new neighbor is the ideal way to heat up the chilly Pacific Northwest nights as he tracks the brilliant gamer.

At first Fox is happy to help Em explore her newly awakened kinky side, no holds barred, no strings attached. But as they push the limits of intimacy, both physical and emotional, Fox discovers he’s not the only one keeping secrets. And revealing hers may mean betraying the one woman who embodies everything he desires.

Excerpt:
He drew his forefinger from my lips down my neck and across my collar bone stopping right above my chest. Slowly his finger dipped between my breasts and down to my navel where his hand greedily grabbed the front of my pants and pulled me towards him. My head snapped back before my lips locked with his. The heat radiated from our mouths, wet and juicy kisses joining together. Everything about him was so forbidden and mysterious, just the relief I needed from my perfectly mundane life. I inhaled his woodsy scent allowing it to take me away. He was the freedom I wanted and now I would do anything to have him.

“Luke,” I said in a husky voice. “Luke, take me.”

His eyes met mine for only a moment, while a smile played on his lips.

I waited on bated breath afraid to move. My heart was beating so fast inside my chest that I considered lunging towards him just to end my moment of discomfort. But as he rubbed his lips together I noticed that his breath increased pace. He took his free hand and put it behind my head into my blonde locks and pulled me towards him. Our faces collided, the air finally releasing from my lungs as our lips converged. Heat spread through my body as his hand reached inside my jeans becoming dangerously close to my already wet sex.

His lips separated from my own he moved his delectable mouth next to my ear. “You feel so good, so warm,” he whispered throatily. “I want you, all of you.”

My First, My Last
by Lacey Silks
a Contemporary Romance

Fate has kept them apart for twenty years.
Their roads hadn't crossed and the stars didn't align until now...

Matured, more experienced, pierced, tattooed and hot as hell, Adrian steps back into Mia's life to reclaim his first love.

And the moment she sees him she can't even remember her own name.

Adrian Reed had always remained in Mia's heart. After all, he was her first boyfriend and the man she'd lost her virginity to, but that was twenty years ago. His sudden appearance at a bar, on a girls night out, has Mia acting like the fifteen year old girl she was when they parted.

But life now is not as simple as it was twenty years ago. With two kids, a hopeful ex-husband and new insecurities, Mia finds opening up to a new relationship more challenging.

Will she give her first love another chance, or will she push him away, this time for good?

review

a Review by pearls
Separated by an ocean for the last 20 years, Adrian has returned to Mia's life to see if they can pick up where they left off as young teenagers in love.  Both bring baggage from interim relationships, jobs, and family.  Yet, the sizzle is still there as they re-explore the stars and picnics.  A jealous ex-husband and scheming home wrecker make it difficult for opportunities to become reacquainted, causing doubt and hesitation. While frustrating to see Mia holding back, it adds authenticity to the reality of the story.  Both have changed and they will have to fall in love again, accepting the changes while remembering the care-free summer.  Proof that true love perseveres and triumphs, Adrian and Mia's love comes with the passion of youth and the experience of age.

EXCERPT
Oh God, who was she kidding? She’d never felt this way about any man before. Bennett was…well, infuriating to start with, but he was brave, smart, kind, funny, intense. There was nothing like having his full attention focused on her. He gave her way more than butterflies. It was like eagles were flapping around in her stomach whenever he was around. There were no flutters. They were freaking tidal waves.
Yeah, getting over Bennett was going to be way easier said than done.
Mel headed toward the supply closet at the back of her classroom where she locked up her purse in a filling cabinet. She grabbed the key and unlocked the top drawer, pulled out her purse, and slammed the drawer shut. When she turned around Bennett was standing in the doorway. Filling it completely. Mel stopped short and stared at him. His eyes were focused on her, the determination in them making all of the thoughts vacate her brain.
“I can’t leave you alone.” He came into the room and shut the door behind him. “And I’m not playing games.” He crossed the small space. “Or at least I’m not trying to.” He shook his head. “I think about you all the time.” He stopped in front of her, took the purse out of her hands, and put it on top of the filing cabinet. Then he reached up and touched her cheek. His fingers fanned out as he pushed his hand to the back of her head and tilted her face up.
Holy hell, what is happening?
She looked into his eyes, and her knees went just a little bit weak. She reached back and planted her hands against the wall, trying to find some balance, something to keep her upright, because she really didn’t want to miss this.
“Because I am interested in you, Mel.” He cupped her face with his other hand and ran his thumb across her lower lip. “Very interested.” He leaned forward and pressed his mouth to hers.
The kiss was soft and gentle at first, just his lips against hers. He took another step into her, pushing her back. When she hit the wall she gasped, and Bennett took advantage of her open mouth. He sucked her bottom lip into his mouth, and she couldn’t stop the moan that escaped her throat.
She plastered herself up against him, against every inch of his hard body. Her arms wound around his shoulders; her hands skittered up the back of his head. She opened her mouth further and his tongue touched hers. Bennett groaned as their tongues began a thorough exploration of each other’s mouths.
His hands were at the back of her head, his fingers deftly pulling out the pins that held up her bun. And then he was unwinding her hair, his hands plunging deep into her unruly curls.
“I’ve wanted to do this for so long,” he said against her mouth. “These curls of yours drive me out of my mind.”
“What stopped you?” She nipped at his lower lip.
“Pure stupidity,” he said, as he claimed her mouth again.
Holy cow, can this man kiss. I feel it everywhere, and do I mean everywhere!
He had her toes curling in her shoes, all manner of body parts tingling where they were pushed up against his, and his hands were magic in her hair. One of his hands drifted down to her side. He touched her hip for a second before his hand slid to the small of her back. He held her to him, but really, she wasn’t going anywhere.
“Mel,” a voice called out from her classroom. “Are you here?”
There were only a few things that could bring Mel back to reality with the snap of a finger. The sound of her little brother’s voice was definitely one of them.
“Oh crap, it’s Hamilton,” Mel gasped, pulling back. Bennett’s hand was behind her head, and it prevented her from hitting the wall. “I’ll be right out!” she answered Hamilton, unable to completely cover up the breathy edge to her voice.
Bennett nodded. He let go of her reluctantly, and took a step back. “You’re going to have to give me a minute before I can go out there,” he said, clearing his throat uncomfortably.
“Oh,” she said, nodding. “Um, okay.”

Actually, she was going to need a minute, too. She knew her hair was everywhere, and she had a feeling Bennett’s scruffy jaw had left its fair share of marks on her face. Not to mention her thoroughly swollen lips.

Soooo worth it.

Dancing is like making love

Submission Dance
A Fetish & Fantasy Novella
by Lori King

Smashwords          All Romance Ebooks
Blurb:
Marley Saltzman has a secret fantasy. She wants to let go of everything, and submit to a Dominant. Intrigued by her friend's BDSM lifestyle, she convinces him to put her on the guest list for his monthly fetish party. She had no idea how far out of her element she would be until she came face to face with an experienced Dom.
Lex Gregory has been nursing heartache and raising his daughter alone for so long he barely remembers what a submissive feels like at his feet. When he meets Marley, he can’t believe that the naïve woman ever thought she could handle kink. All too quickly his need for her refreshing innocence and lack of preconceived notions grows, and he has to have her.
The two began a subtle dance of sexual submission and wit that leads to a night of passion and unanswered questions. Will this dance end in heartache, or will they both find their darkest fantasies fulfilled?
Excerpt:

“Would you like to dance, Marley?” Lex asked, rising from the low slung chair. The height of her own seat put her face almost dead even with his crotch, and there was a distinct bulge under his zipper that she found very intriguing, but he didn’t seem to notice her predicament.

“I’m really not much of a dancer…” She stammered for an excuse not to get closer to him. He was too magnetic and charming for her. She was almost afraid that if she let him pull her onto the sparsely populated dance floor, she would turn into putty in his hands, and never find herself again.

“The music is slow, and I know what I’m doing. Trust me to lead, and you’ll be fine.” She wasn’t sure if he intended the double meaning behind his words or not, but her clit certainly heard it.

Holding out his hand, he waited for her to lay her palm against his and then he tugged her to her feet. She swayed slightly, and he steadied her with a hand on her lower back just above the curve of her ass. Immediately, she had to fight the urge to press herself against his long muscular body. Certainly he already thought her an easy mark after that steaming kiss; rubbing against him like a cat in heat wouldn’t help her circumstance.

He led her onto the dance floor without another word, and before she could turn to face him, he spun her around once, and then twice, so that her balance was off and she fell into him.

With an arrogant grin on his face, he wrapped his arms around her back, and steadied them on the curve of her spine, but within proper distance from her ass. “Better, now just relax and let me guide you.  That’s right, sway with me. Dancing is like making love. It’s sensual, and there’s an exchange of power between every couple. You trust me to lead you in the right movements, and I trust you to follow me, but at any point you can walk away.” His hot breath whispered over her ear from above, and her cheek brushed the smooth silk of his shirt. “You have all the control, Marley.”

Lex continued to murmur instructions to her, softly seducing her with his body and his innuendos. Her breasts grew heavy and achy, and her nipples were diamond hard points that she knew were probably poking through the thin material covering them. She tipped her head back to look up into his deep blue eyes, and her knees grew weak at the intense lust burning there.

“Careful. If you slip I get to carry you off and say I swept you off your feet. That would make you my rightful prize to do with as I pleased for the night,” he whispered.

Marley snorted out a laugh, “Is that a party rule?”

“No, but everyone knows the black knight steals away the princess at her first ball and seduces her.”

But Dash left behind the rock and roll life for a reason.  And seductive as Lori may be, if she drags him back into that world, this time he won't forgive himself...or her.

Review by pearls

Resisting the Musician is a perfect example of opposites attracting.  Type-A business woman meets laid-back artistic soul. When they are thrown together to work on a song for an upcoming marriage, he teaches her how to relax while she teaches him to trust again.  Their witty repartee fills the space created by the sexual tension created by their love/hate attraction.  The more they get to see past the public personas, the more they come to respect one another, even to need one another.  And the more each comes to learn more about their individual selves, which helps to propel each past their comfort zones.  Being a band story, there are lots of interesting band members with intriguing back stories left to tell, opening the window for more stories.  This story, however, is a complete HEA.

Excerpt

"What compelled you to ignore the ‘No Trespassing Or My Vicious Dogs will Eat Your Liver For Brunch’ sign?” asked Dash.

In sentences three words and less his voice was riveting.  Longer it was rich and smooth, with a hint of an accent Lori couldn’t pick.

“The sign lied,” Lori prevaricated, as if she didn’t have a million things she ought to be doing with her time other than standing in this doorway in the middle of nowhere falling into the slumberous dark eyes of a hulking stranger.

His wide mouth flickered up at one corner.  She would have bet a mint the guy was well aware how a smile like that would play with any female within range.

“If you want liver-eaters for dogs,” she said, standing taller to negate the urge to fan herself, “they need discipline.”

One meaty shoulder lifted into a shrug.  “Never been that keen on the stuff myself.”

“Liver?”

“Discipline.”

He touched the side of his nose and she wondered how many times it had been broken.  And how big the other guys must have been.
