After losing her entire family a few short years, Julia Cavallo finds herself disconnected and tired of everyone's sympathy. Unable to move on, she feels that she is simply broken. A gifted pianist, Julia uses music to express herself where words fail.
Will Bradley is destined for an eternal life thanks to a hopeless disease. believing he is soulless and empty, he returns to his hometown where he happens upon Julia playing the piano. Pieces of himself that he thought were lost begin to resurface, making him truly feel alive.
Part fantasy and part science-fiction, A Sadness Within is about the restorative power of love and its ability to heal and shows that no matter what, it is never too late to change.

Meet the Author
-I believe that those who don't read, have never found a book they enjoyed. Some day, I hope to write the book that gets those people to read.
-If I could take only one book with me on a deserted island, it would be The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. . .or The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater.
-I frequently quote movies and am known to have entire conversations in quotes.
-I love the smell of books and I don't like to bend their bindings. Don't even ask me to borrow a book. (Note from pearls: I remember having a whole conversation about this with you a few years ago. LOL)
-I have always wanted to compete in the Olympics in equestrian. Sadly I'm too much of a chicken
to jump so that eliminates 2 of the 3 disciplines.
-I was once an intern for a minor league hockey team doing stats and chauffeuring the
mascot around to appearances.
-I absolutely love bacon. I mean seriously, I could eat it at every meal.
-Horses and music make me happy.

About Sara:
Sara lives on the shores of Lake Michigan with her husband,
two girls, dog, and horse. She has been known to speak only in movie quotes,
randomly break out in song, and spend hours on the internet researching
abandoned places. Her friends think she is a great date to an amusement park
and a decent, but slow, running companion. In addition to being a writer, Sara
is also a high school English teacher. Riding horses and music make her happy
and she believes that bacon should be included at every meal.
