Review by pearls
I was gifted an ARC still undergoing revisions in exchange for an honest review. I had not read the first book in the series and was able to follow this book fine.
The star of this romance is the 5 year old daughter. Through all the pain and heartache, her light keeps her mother going and draws people into their little family. Alex is as much in love with her as with her mother. You have to love a man who loves kids. Watching him balance his "two women" puts a smile on your face. The attraction between the Alex and Alyssa is instantaneous, but it takes her a while to cope with her thawing heart's feelings. Alex is patient and understanding. The all around nice guy in a hunky 6'4" frame. While I understood Alyssa's motivation to leave all she knew behind, I didn't understand how she went over 2 years without a phone call or letter/email home.
Over four years ago I started a food blog at CafeTerraBlog. My love for food is why each of my books will always share new recipes made by the characters.
I love connecting with my followers. You can find me on Facebook and Twitter. I will keep you up to date on what I am writing, book release dates, and so much more on my website.
