This Memorial Day weekend, we are looking for the most Memorable Man of Service from your reading.  Each day you can nominate a Man of Service for this award.  The character with the most nominations wins the honour!

TOUCHED BY MIDAS was awesome! This offering in the SEALs Going Hot series features the delightfully arrogant and completely, crazily superstitious SEAL Midas, whose rituals bordered on the ridiculous but oh-so-funny. He prided himself on his studly status, and I thought that Angie's own man-eating sexpot past was the perfect match for his claims (I truly hope these two get some STD tests done, STAT!). Seriously, their first sex scene had me cracking up at the same time I had to turn the fan on to cool down.

 

The writing was perfectly balanced between fun and sexy, and the gorgeous Spanish setting was ideal. Midas and Angie's chemistry bordered on obscene in all the best ways. Truly, Angie was amazing--a reformed celebutante wild child trying to stay incognito but desperately yearning for a bit of hot and heavy fun in her mundane days. Everyone underestimating her and thinking she was some goody goody teacher was perfect and so much fun. Instead of taking tons of time to resolve the obligatory conflict between Angie and Midas, Ms. Zinn had the two of them actually talk to one another and work it out. BOOM...success.

 

While nothing in TOUCHED BY MIDAS was groundbreaking, jaw-dropping or even suspenseful, it really was just a super fabulous sexy read with character's you'll adore. I'm so ready to devour more books by Ms. Zinn ASAP!
