“Oh, really?” He stood up. “I’m not really afraid of you, Abby. Tell me, what do you do when you’re aroused?” He laid down his napkin.
“Do you touch yourself?” He took a step or two toward her end of the table.
Abby stood up, panic washing through her bloodstream. “Don’t you come anywhere near me, Cade Tallbull.”
“Do you run your hands over that sweet little body?”
He was coming closer, stalking her. Abby retreated. “Excuse me, I need to do the dishes. Why don’t you watch television, or better yet...” She brightened. “Why don’t you go take a dip in the stock pond? I put some testicle eating fish in there especially for you.”
Cade shook his head. “Nah, I saw ice on the pond when I drove up. And believe me, you want me to keep the boys safe.” He rubbed his package. “You might find a use for them someday soon.” Cade took another step closer to her. “But we could shower together.” This was fun. “Stop fighting it, Abby. Stop fighting me. You know you still want me. Admit it.”
Abby wasn’t admitting a damn thing. She glanced over her shoulder, measuring how far it was to her bedroom door. She needed a path to a fast get-away. “The dishes can wait till tomorrow. I’m tired.”
Cade wasn’t giving up. “When you touch yourself, do you ever think of me? When you rub your little clit and pinch your nipples, do you ever call out my name? Cade, oh, Cade, I want you, Cade.” He mimicked her voice.
He was about three feet away and aroused, heavily aroused. Abby could see the outline of his cock through his jeans. She stared, mesmerized and confused. Was that for her? “Me? Call your name? Never!” Lie. Lie. All lies.
"So, you do masturbate, don’t you? At least I admit that much.” He reached out for her.
And when he did, Abby turned and ran like the devil himself was after her. She sprinted across the room, down the hall, into her bedroom and slammed the door. And locked it. Then, she leaned back against it, clasping her heart, trying to catch her breath. She wasn’t scared of Cade. She was scared of herself.
Abby Grace King wanted Cade Tallbull more than she wanted life.
But she couldn’t have him. Ever.
She was just about to step away from the door when she heard him...
“Abby?” Cade’s whispered voice came from the other side of the door. She jumped. “Abby?”
“Go away, Cade.” She begged, desperate to have him – desperate to keep him at arm’s length.
“I’m going to be in bed just on the other side of the wall, thinking about you. Listen for me, Abby. You just might hear me moaning your name when I cum.”
“Oh, God,” she whispered. “I’m gonna kill him.” She heard him chuckle as he turned and went to his door.
"Goodnight, Abby,” he called. “Dream about me.”

But Charlee has a secret…a secret she’s afraid to tell Justice. She’s been keeping something from him, something he might not be able to forgive

***Excerpt***

The holidays were over and he was glad, but Justice couldn’t get one particular song out of his head. “All I want for Christmas is...her.”

Justice’s deep husky voice changed its tune as he stopped singing to watch a dark- haired beauty cross the street in front of him at the red light. Flakes of snow were floating down around her, making him think of a winter wonderland snow globe. “Now why didn’t Santa leave someone like you under my tree?”

Letting his eyes rove from the petite cowboy boots on her feet, up long legs lovingly encased in tight jeans, Justice whistled. Watching her walk was pure pleasure. “Shake it, baby.” He leaned forward to get a better view of her perfect rounded ass as she stepped gingerly over the ice covered ground. “Who are you?” he whispered. “Look this way.”

At that moment Justice hated winter because her short thick coat prevented him from seeing the shape of her tits. But what he could see was enough to make him hard. Shifting in his seat, he reached down to adjust his swollen package and... BEEP!

“Dammit!” he cursed as his elbow bumped against the car horn. Outside in the frigid air, the snow angel jumped and Justice stared, frozen, unable to prevent her feet from slipping on the slick pavement. Her long, luscious curls flew up in the air behind her, and he saw that cute backside splat itself hard on the unforgiving asphalt. Unmindful of the traffic waiting behind him, he slid the gearshift into Park and opened the door, determined to go to her rescue. “God, I’m sorry. It was an accident. Are you all right?”

Justice could hear her grumbling about her luck running out, the cadence of her voice oddly familiar. As he drew nearer, the faint scent of sugar cookies made him smile. She smelled as sweet as she looked. “Let me help you.” Before she could protest, he was on her, hands closing in on a narrow waist. “I got you.” With one smooth move, Justice lifted her from the ground to a standing position. “There!”

She bent over, dusting the muddy slush from her legs. The light changed and immediately car horns began to sound. Justice knew he had to move his truck. “Where are you going? If you’ll get in, I’ll take you wherever you say."

“No, thank you. I’m okay.” She finally spoke, still keeping her eyes to the ground. “I appreciate you helping me up.”

“Hey, move it, King! Some of us have to work for a living!” Justice frowned, waving off-handedly at folks who were pulling around him to continue down the road. There were some benefits to living in a small town, but everyone knowing your business was not one of them.

When he looked back around, she was on the move, almost like she was trying to escape. “Wait!” he called, reaching for her arm. “What’s your name?”

Justice hadn’t looked her full in the face, but her profile was gorgeous. Big brown eyes framed with thick dark lashes, high cheekbones flushed rosy by the cold and full succulent lips glossed light pink. She stopped, but she still didn’t turn to face him. “Sorry. I’ve got to go.”

“I’m Justice King.” He insisted on telling her. “Would you let me buy you a cup of coffee?” Justice didn’t understand why he felt like he couldn’t let her walk away. He was filled with an odd kind of urgency. When she stiffened but didn’t answer, he offered further incentive, because he could see her delicate left hand and it was ring free. “Or how about hot chocolate with marshmallows?”

A small sigh of resignation met his ears as dozens of concerned and curious Bronco citizens watched their favorite son try to pick up a woman at the only stop light in town.

Instead of answering, she turned to look at him. When he saw her full in the face, Justice stared, stunned, gazing into the eyes of the one person he’d been longing to see for what seemed like forever. Time seemed to swirl around them with the blowing snow, like a vortex sweeping him back in time. Despite his initial confusion, he had to admit her face was the same, except she was all grown up and gorgeous. The only thing totally different was the expression in her eyes. Instead of seeing trust and welcome, he saw hesitancy and insecurity.

“My God! Charlee! I’d heard you were back in town. You look...” He was going to say amazing, but she didn’t give him a chance. When he moved to embrace her, she pulled out of his grasp, walking away so fast he was afraid she’d fall again. Justice stood, immobile, his heart pounding and his mind racing. Every instinct told him to go after her, but he couldn’t. Horns were sounding and people were shouting. Traffic was backed up and if he didn’t move soon, the local law would be giving him a ticket. Blowing out a harsh breath, he returned to his truck, climbed in and shifted gears. Slowly he began to move, scanning the street ahead of him, trying to see where Charlee had gone.

She was nowhere in sight. Vanished...just like she had so long ago.

 released this weekend!!!

 SANTA WORE SPURS:

4 GREAT AUTHORS, 4 SEXY SANTA NOVELLAS

In Santa Wore Spurs, Sable introduces us to her new series EL CAMINO REAL with her new story Breath of Heaven.  Cade and Abby have a history. Ten years ago they were in love. But something happened. Abby pushed Cade away and he never knew why. Since then, sparks fly when they’re together. Antagonizing one another has become their favorite sport. The only problem is… it’s all a front. They bicker because they both want the same thing – each other. A Christmas wedding brings them together and Cade is determined to learn Abby’s secret. He’ll do whatever it takes to win her love. Meet the King Family of El Camino Real – five brothers, one sister and a legacy as big as Texas.

Excerpt

“You do realize we’ll kill each other.”
Jase held up his hands in the same defensive posture he’d utilized for their entire history as siblings. Abby was small, but feisty. As the only sister of five brothers, she’d learned early on to talk loudly and carry a big stick. “He understands the situation and he knows you well. I’m sure he’ll arrive in a helmet and body armor.”
“Cade had best wear a cup if he knows what’s good for him. I’m gonna knee him in the nuts if he messes with me,” Abby grumbled just as a blast of icy wind swept through the house.
“Now, is that any way to greet an old friend for Christmas?”
Cade. A thousand emotions hit her like a tsunami. Longing. Lust. Regret.
“Are you glad to see me, Abilene?”
Damn his ornery hide, he knew she hated the name Abilene. “Glad is not the best word for it, Cade. Irritated would be a more appropriate term.” She didn’t know which was worse, being rude or lying. As far as Cade was concerned, rudeness was Abby’s mode of self-defense. Lying to him was preferable. It was better than embarrassing them both with the truth.
Cade sauntered to the fireplace to warm his hands, inspecting the family photographs on the mantel. “I told you this wouldn’t work, Jase. Frankly, I’d rather room with a cranky skunk than put up with your sister’s snarly attitude. Why isn’t my photo up here? I’m family.”
“Your photo’s on display at the Post Office.” Abby braced herself to face her nemesis. She steeled her resolve to react in the manner to which they’d become accustomed. Wiping her hands on a dishtowel, she turned. Slowly.
Wham! There it was.
No matter how often she laid eyes on him, no matter if it was from the rodeo arena stands, watching him on TV or sitting across from him at the dinner table, the effect was always the same. Her knees went weak. Her heart pounded. Her nipples hardened and her pussy creamed.
Cade Tallbull was the sexiest man alive. Bar none.
Also, no one could make her madder faster than this egotistical, arrogant, sanctimonious Don Juan in spurs. “Skunk? Snarly?” Abby put her hands on her hips, flung her hair over her shoulder, narrowed her eyes and threw back her shoulders. “I’ll have you know I’m an absolute living doll. I’m sweet, thoughtful and kind. And if you don’t quit grinning at me like an idiot, I’m going to brain you with this skillet.” She picked one up off the stove and weighed it in her hand.
“Ah, that’s my cue to leave. I’m glad to see you two enjoying each other’s company, just like normal.” Jase began making his way toward the front door, stepping lightly as if traversing a mine field.
Cade stood behind the leather sofa with arms folded, facing Abby as if he were contemplating a duel. “Catch you tomorrow, Jase, and thanks for abandoning me in the enemy camp.”
Abby noticed Cade and Jase exchanging a knowing look. Jase slapped his best friend on the shoulder. “Be careful. She’s armed.”
Cade snorted. “Your sister is lethal. But I do enjoy a challenge. Taming flighty, feisty fillies is my specialty.”
Jase put on his coat, easing out as Abby grumbled. Cade ducked and a rosy red apple bounced off the door. “Tame me?” She picked up another apple and considered her target. “You don’t have the balls, Tallbull.” Even as she threw down the gauntlet, she knew she’d made a mistake. Abby had just waved a red cape in the face of the biggest bull Alpha in Texas. Damn! Why did he have to be so good-looking? Every time she was near him, her whole body went into sexual shell-shock. Six-foot three, two-hundred forty pounds, perfectly ripped, wide shoulders, coal black eyes, dark hair and enough scruff to make him look like an old west desperado. Yea, he was gorgeous and she wanted to run for the hills.
Cade began to move toward her. Slowly. Abby was no fool. She started backing up.
“Au contraire, my dear.” He cupped his oversize package and bucked his hips toward her. She jumped. “Do I make you nervous, Buttercup?” Cade wanted to lick the fluttering pulse point at the base of her neck so badly, he could taste it. “I’m hung, Abby. I have a yard of hard, a battleship full of balls and enough hair—”
“Stop it!” She couldn’t take anymore! Before Abby knew it, he had her backed against the wall. “You Are Out Of Line,” she growled.
Placing one hand on either side of her head, Cade leaned over and looked her right in the eye. A scant quarter of an inch separated their bodies. Her breasts were straining to touch his chest. Lowering his voice, he whispered in her ear. “A moment ago, when you thrust your shoulders back, did you know it made me want to suck your nipples?”
