Mark is usually the epitome of control and composure. But in the space of 48 hours two tragic events have rocked his foundation. (Please read Being Me first). This novella is a revealing look into the man who is behind the MASTER. This is the man Rebecca saw behind the mask and loved. And this is the man who must lean on an unknown for support. As a reader, it is heartbreaking to see him so laid bare and vulnerable. As a BDSM fan, I wasn't prepared for this and it totally blindsided me. It's short, but powerfully emotional. The ending was too abrupt, leaving me wanting me more--and I know the next novel in this series comes out in September. But meanwhile I am in limbo with Mark.
