I have a small farm and vacation home in Ocala, Florida which is my favorite place in the world. There's nothing as wonderful as swinging in the hammock in the shade and listening to the music of the wind in the pines while cuddled under a quilt reading a good book. I set my first series, the Le Club Series, in Ocala's fabulous horse country. My second series, the Golden Dolphin Series, is a spinoff of that set aboard a luxury yacht that travels the world with occasional visits by some of the original characters.

Books have always been my escape into love and adventure, and through reading I have been able to be many people, do many things, and go to many wonderful places I wouldn't have otherwise been able to be, do or see.

I hope that all hard working women who have a moment to put up their tired feet and relax with a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) enjoy getting to meet my fantasy friends and to experience something new and different with a touch of hot romance thrown in for good measure!

Heather Rainier lives and writes in South Central Texas. Her stories offer up the content of her fantasies, with autobiographical humor, triumph and tragedy mixed in.

Heather's love of romance fiction began as a teenager when her mom gave her copies of Kathleen Woodiwiss's "The Flame and the Flower" and Bertrice Small's "Skye O'Malley". To this day she's pretty sure that was her mom's version of the "birds and the bees" talk.

I received a copy of the book and started it a few days ago.  It is a really fast pasted read!  The stories weave among each other beautifully.  As I moved from one to another, I loved how a person I thought nothing about in one story was the central character in the next.  Each of the stories did a good job of complementing the next and the play among them was great, it really worked!  The authors did a great job also of capturing the real spirit of the city that I love, the one I call home.  If you want a feel of what Austin is really like, this book conveys it.

There is plenty of heat among the characters.  The stories have enough differences in their story arcs and each reads differently but still form a cohesive book.  I wanted more of the characters, which is always a good thing.  

Pick this anthology up and give it a read.  You won't be disappointed and maybe you will discover a  new author or 7 to fall in love with.
