Sela joins Sugar Bowl seeking revenge. Finding Beckett shows her another way to heal and move forward with her life. Usually it's the guy needing to heal, so this was a nice switch. The story is told in alternating points of view, showing both characters emotional turmoil and growth. Beckett is an all around nice guy, but a bit jaded. Can he learn to trust? Can she learn to live?
