I loved this book! It combines the darkness of an Italian mafia storyline with the fantasy of a paranormal romance. Francesca is a strong female character, reluctant to lean on anyone for help. Stefano was raised to help people under his care. As she sees his love for the community members, she warms up to him. Meanwhile, we see the ugly underbelly he fights against. He has a cast of memorable family members, each deserving of their own stories. Enjoyable start to a new series.
