A Brand New Full Length Novel in the Bestselling Montgomery Ink Series
Blurb:On the wrong side of thirty, Austin Montgomery is ready to settle down. Unfortunately, his inked sleeves and scruffy beard isn't the suave business appearance some women crave. Only finding a woman who can deal with his job, as a tattoo artist and owner of Montgomery Ink, his seven meddling siblings, and his own gruff attitude won't be easy.

Finding a man is the last thing on Sierra Elder's mind. A recent transplant to Denver, her focus is on opening her own boutique. Wanting to cover up scars that run deeper than her flesh, she finds in Austin a man that truly gets to her--in more ways than one.

Although wary, they embark on a slow, tempestuous burn of a relationship. When blasts from both their pasts intrude on their present, however, it will take more than a promise of what could be to keep them together.

Note from Inner Goddess about Carrie Ann Ryan:

Everyone has an embarrassing story, so here's mine.  I'm at RT in New Orleans having a wonderful time soaking up all the culture.  I start to tell my group of partiers about a book I had read that did an excellent job of capturing the sights and ambiance of the city.  But being a bit buzzed, I couldn't remember the name of the book or the author.  My friend points at the blonde sitting next to me and says "that's her book."  And then I proceeded to quiz the author on her own book to verify that it was the one and same.  The book was Ink Inspired by Carrie Ann Ryan from the Midnight Ink Anthology.

Well, I probably could have lived that one down, except we went on to talk about an upcoming convention in Las Vegas.  To which I commented that I had just read a story about a bachelorette party in Vegas which gets rescued from being abducted.  They are taken to safety in this Shifter commune out in the desert.  And I find out, once again, Carrie Ann Ryan has been sitting on my nightstand with the Redwood Pack series.

What can I say?  Whether it's tattooed Alpha men or true Alpha Shifters, Carrie Ann Ryan writes steamy novels with lots of action and twists.  The characters' dilemmas and passions come across, as do the feelings of family bonds, even if the family isn't blood.   Her Heroes and Heroines are real people with real life problems.  And while falling in love is never easy, Carrie Ann Ryan makes it worth the bumps and bruises.

Review for Delicate Ink by pearls:

I was offered a chance to read the ARC for a review.  I would have bought the book anyways, this just made it faster for me to get my review up closer to the book release date.

In Delicate Ink, we follow Austin Montgomery as he returns from New Orleans to his home and tattoo business in Colorado.  The other employees and huge family provide a colorful background, and a canvas of future storylines is hinted at.   The beauty of the Rockies is part of the freedom that personifies Austin.  Rugged yet handsome, strong yet safe, wilderness yet home.  When he starts to date the pretty shop owner across the street, he says they will take each day one at time.  But each day seems to bring a new hurdle for them to jump over as individuals and as a couple.  While they may appear opposites on the outside, they have so much in common on the inside they are perfect for one another but can too much become too hard for a brand new couple just starting out?  It will take a delicate hand to guide them through this without crashing and burning.  Once again, Carrie Ann Ryan has transported me into a new place to be part of the characters' lives.

Author's Biography

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan never thought she'd be a writer. Not really. No, she loved math and science and even went on to graduate school in chemistry. Yes, she read as a kid and devoured teen fiction and Harry Potter, but it wasn't until someone handed her a romance book in her late teens that she realized that there was something out there just for her. When another author suggested she use the voices in her head for good and not evil, The Redwood Pack and all her other stories were born.
Carrie Ann is a bestselling author of over twenty novels and novellas and has so much more on her mind (and on her spreadsheets *grins*) that she isn't planning on giving up her dream anytime soon
