We
all have bills, laundry, and bathrooms to be cleaned. Turning on the
news will offer you a plethora of reasons to want a break from the day-to-day stresses we all feel. For me and most everyone one I’ve spoken
to, reading is a form of escape. A fantasy-driven vacation from reality.
Reading about love conquering all and good beating evil can make you
feel good and give you a brighter outlook after finishing that last
page. Ménage relationships, regardless of the inner dichotomy, are the
deep dark fantasies that often push our boundaries.
The reality is that human emotions are much more complex and novels are
a small slice of the character’s lives. There are a couple TV shows
that have recently brought polyamourous relationships to the attention
of the media. With that kind of bright light shone down on them, it’s no
wonder that everyone can pick at the cracks and easily point out the
flaws. This kind of relationship takes more work to create and a lot
more effort to balance in real life. Not only do you have to worry about
your own moods and troubles but now you are facing two or more other
personalities that are relying on you and each other.
I like to think of the Ménage Romance as a perfect shining side of this
unique kind of family. There are no jealous conflicts or needs that
aren’t resolved by the time the characters reach their Happily Ever
After. The dragons are slain and evil vanquished. No one leaves the
milk on the counter to go sour or drops their socks on the floor next to
the laundry hamper.
What’s
there not to like about having more than one person’s complete
attention on you? Four hands on you instead of two? How about six or
eight? No matter what your fantasy is, there is always someone there to
take care of you.
Enjoying a good menage is my kind of vacation, and it’s a lot cheaper then a Caribbean one.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM
ReplyDeletetrois: Lucas from Knights of the Boardroom and Devlin from Vampire Queen.
quatre: The bears Hugh, Boyd, and Gavin McNamara from Surrounded by Fur.
Okay, so this is probably over the top and I see huge conflict brewing by Christian Grey (50 Shades), Gideon Cross(Bared to You) and Chris Merrick (If I were You)all make appearances in my multiples dream world. I think you would have to have a really strong personality to take them all on but since this is fantasy anyway, I think I would be the perfect woman to do the job!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe it is Gavin and Reese would consider sharing? Both are strong men from the mind of Bella Juarez and the Black Ops Brotherhood.
pearls, Lucas and Devlin are both tempting to add...
Wow, too many great men to fantasize about!

ReplyDeleteCaph, Ford and Aaron from Tymber Dalton's Love at first Byte series have wandered through my dreams, collectively and separately.
